Lacks funding. Restore 28-acres of intertidal and shallow subtidal area, including mudflats and fringing saltwater wetland behind a levee by replacing constricting tidal gates with large culverts. Project has improve anadromous fish access to spawning creeks.
Twenty six acres of intertidal mudflat and nearshore habitat could be restored. This is important rearing and feeding area for young salmon. Additionally, an improvement to water quality of Little Clam Bay could be expected from increased tidal flushing if the project were completed.Was a cost-benefit study conducted for this project? yes/no If yes, provide a summary of findings.
