This project would remove the Goldsboro dam located on Goldsboro Creek (river mile 2.3). This project would also include the construction of weirs that would establish a gradual contour of the steam bed. Natural materials will be used to anchor the weirs and native plants will be used in the streambed behind the weirs to enhance fish habitat. The removal of the dam would open spawning grounds for anadromous fish, such as coho, chum, and chinook salmon, steelhead and sea run cutthroat trout.
