Other (describe)
The Town of Simsbury is the home of a 450-acre aquatic habitat including vernal pools, wooded swamps, wetlands, and the Farmington River. This highly popular recreational area has a 5-acre pocket of purple loosestrife and problems originating from several sources of storm water runoff adding sediments to sections of the Meadows. Simsbury is seeking help to control the invasives, deal with the effects of sedimentation and study the area for further impacts.
