The EPA Water Management Division of Region I has been conducting studies and will now implement a major reintroduction of eelgrass (Zostera sp.) in Boston Harbor. The NERIT is currently coordinating with the Navy to obtain the support of Navy divers to conduct the plantings as a training exercise.
