This area, which is owned by Cape Cod Hospital, has significant potential to become a productive ecological feature as well as a community asset for recreational opportunities. The landowner is proactive in its community citizenship. The NRCS will use its Community Assistance Planning Program to work with the stakeholders to balance ecological function and community interests for passive recreation and other uses.
