The USACE, USDOT, USEPA, USFWS, NOAA, CTDEP and CTDOT have completed a collaborative technical analysis of all eastern Connecticut salt marshes. Numerous sites were recommended for restoration. The CTDOT has already funded two restorations, Sybil Creek and Mill Meadows. The NERIT is investigating funding opportunities for several others and CTDEP will conduct some restorations using in-house staff.
