At a recent coordination meeting discussing the Sachuest Point Project, the state of RI staff suggested that NERIT evaluate Boyds Marsh in Portsmouth. The USACE has initiated an initial appraisal of the site under its Section 1135 program. The Aquidneck Island Land Trust has pledged $25K toward the local cost share.
