The tidal flap gate under the state road on the West Branch Pleasant River is in need of repair. This presents an opportunity to restore 2000 acres of salt marsh in the town of Addison. The community is holding a series of public meetings to discuss the potential restoration. This project is an extremely high priority of the USFWS. Transportation Efficiency Act (TEA-21) funds, USACE Section 22 funds or Section 206 funds can all be used.
