A 0.51 acre brackish water marsh was created in 1/3 of a water reservoir. The created marsh consisted of Spartina patens (in the upper portion), Juncus roemerianus (in the middle section), and Spartina alternifloura (in the lower section). An installed manifold in the upper end of the reservoir distributed pond drainage water through the created marsh, then the remaining reservoir before final discharge into the Gulf Intracoastal Water Way.
