Implementation Team

The GLRIT strategy focuses on several environmental threats to the region. The GLRIT has joined the International Joint Commission (IJC) to identify health related environmental problems in the Great Lakes. They also focus on industrialized areas and possible contaminated sediments, the reduction of non point source pollution into rivers and lakes from farms and industry, and the control of exotic species in the Great Lakes.
