Quick FactsOverviewThe National Corporate Wetlands Restoration Partnership (CWRP) is a public-private partnership between the federal government, state governments and private corporations to restore wetlands and other aquatic habitats.
The CWRP’s objective is to stop and reverse the degradation of America’s fresh and saltwater wetlands and other aquatic habitats. The CWRP is a program of the Coastal America Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. The CWRP is facilitated by the Coastal America Partnership in Washington, D.C. In the CWRP, corporations contribute funds and services to the Coastal America Foundation. These funds and services will leverage federal and state funds to undertake aquatic ecosystem restoration projects. The CWRP is organized on a regional and state-by-state basis, parallel to the Coastal America framework.
