Coastal Wetlands Restoration Partnership

What: BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. is the lead for the Corporate Wetlands Restoration Partnership in Alaska, and will be launching the CWRP at a reception.
When: February 4, 2002, at 5 PM.
Where: BP Building, 900 East Benson Blvd., Anchorage, AK.
Background Information:
 

The launch event will include an introduction by Bill Streever of BP and brief descriptions of the CWRP by Virginia K. Tippie (Director, Coastal America), Bill Hogarth (Assistant Administrator, NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service) and Garry Hollands (Vice President, ENSR).

Although the CWRP has yet to be officially launched in Alaska, eight companies have already expressed a commitment in principle to the CWRP. The companies are: ABR, Inc.; HDR; LGL; Phillips; Oasis Environmental; NC Machinery; Thales; and URS.

Among the projects to be started in 2002 are restoration of Ship Creek (Anchorage) hydrology and production of an Atlas of Alaska Wetland Restoration.
